BlackRock Pulls in $204M as Bitcoin ETFs Finish the Week Positive

Crypto ETF investors spent the week changing direction almost as quickly as the market itself. A sharp Monday retreat gave way to broad inflows across bitcoin and ether products, allowing both categories to finish the five days with net gains.

Ether ETFs Add $105M to Overtake Bitcoin ETFs in Weekly Inflows

From July 13 to July 17, U.S.-listed ether spot ETFs attracted $105.44 million, outperforming bitcoin funds, which recorded $75.67 million in net inflows. XRP ETFs added $6.78 million, while solana products brought in a modest $948,200. HYPE ETFs stood apart with the category suffering $7.26 million in weekly net outflows.

Bitcoin Funds Recover From a $425 Million Monday Exit

Bitcoin ETFs opened the week under heavy pressure, posting $425 million in net outflows on Monday. The reversal came quickly.

The funds attracted $181 million on Tuesday, followed by another $108 million on Wednesday. Thursday extended the streak with a $79 million addition, before Friday delivered the week’s strongest finish: $132.30 million in net inflows.

Blackrock’s IBIT drove the weekly result with $204.1 million in new capital. Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust added $70 million, while Bitwise’s BITB, Morgan Stanley’s MSBT, Vaneck’s HODL and ARK 21Shares’ ARKB recorded inflows of $18.5 million, $7.4 million, $6.1 million and $3.6 million, respectively.

Those gains were partly offset by large withdrawals elsewhere. Fidelity’s FBTC lost $181.1 million during the week, while Grayscale’s GBTC recorded $53.1 million in outflows.

Friday’s bitcoin inflow was concentrated almost entirely in IBIT, which attracted $136.48 million. A $4.18 million withdrawal from FBTC reduced the day’s net total to $132.30 million.
